Pricing questions
Who pays for Whistle?
Only officiating organizations subscribe. Officials and hosts (leagues, tournaments) use Whistle completely free — one org subscription covers everyone your organization services.
What counts as a game?
A game counts toward your monthly allowance only when it actually happens (reaches completed status), in the month it is played. Drafts, cancellations, and expired games never count — and a season posted up front spreads across the months it is actually played.
What happens if we go over our monthly games?
Nothing is blocked. Extra games simply bill at the per-game overage rate on that month’s invoice. If overage becomes a habit, upgrading is usually cheaper.
Is there a limit on officials?
No. Every plan, including Free, has unlimited officials on your roster. You only pay for the games you run.
Can we pay annually?
Yes. Pro and Ultimate can be prepaid for a year at about 17% off. Any overage games are still billed monthly. Annual plans renew yearly; plan changes take effect at renewal.
Can we change plans or pause?
Monthly plans can upgrade or downgrade anytime from your organizer dashboard; a month bills at the highest plan you held during it. In the off-season you can pause a monthly plan — you move to Free from the 1st of next month and can resume anytime.
Are taxes included?
Prices are in CAD and exclude applicable sales taxes (GST/HST/QST), which are added to your invoice.
